Mercedes Taylor is a Commercial Real Estate Associate who partners with her clients to achieve superior results with their real estate investments. With over 15 years of commercial real estate experience spanning facilities management, property management, and brokerage, Mercedes has provided strategic oversight on lease negotiations, and facilities support for over 150 nationwide offices, totaling over 1 million sq. ft. of space. In representing both Landlords and Tenants throughout her career, she understands the concerns of both parties and what kind of issues may occur after a lease is signed. Given the depth and breadth of her knowledge, Mercedes is highly capable in negotiating advantageous leasing terms that help limit her client’s liability while protecting the profitability of their businesses. She also has extensive knowledge in space planning, buildouts, office moves, and change management. Originally from the Poconos (East Stroudsburg, PA), Mercedes has lived in Northern, VA for over 20 years and currently lives in Haymarket with her husband and two daughters.
