A new pediatric-focused dentistry group, called Clear Care Dental, is poised to launch in the Fredericksburg area early this summer with a new state-of-the-art, family-friendly office.

Orthodontist Ali Ghatri and oral maxillofacial surgeon Daria Hamrah perceived a need in the region for a multi-specialty practice that can be a one-stop-shop for families with diverse dental needs.

The practice will also have an in-house pediatric dentist and other orthodontists and oral surgeons, offering varying services such as some veneers or braces, although some types of braces are expensive.

The doctors recently purchased the roughly 10,000-square-foot building at 10 Chatham Heights Road in Stafford County for $1.75 million in late December, and are working with Mike Adams of JON Properties on the practice’s build-out.

Ghatri has operated YesBraces in the region for 18 years. He now has four locations in Northern Virginia.

A lot of hard work will have been completed by Ghatri to achieve the success of opening as many dental practices as he has.

Of course, he may have faced some hurdles that he will have had to overcome during this time, some of which may have included his accounting and finances. Whilst this is an important part of every business, it can take a lot of time, so deciding to learn more about dental consulting services, like those at Eide Bailly may have been very important to the running of his business.

Hamrah has been practicing for seven years in Northern Virginia at his NOVA Surgicare in McLean.

“This is specialty services in state-of-the-art offices for each specialty under one roof,” Hamrah said.

The office will even have its own spa for parents who want to relax while their children see the dentist. Hamrah started a spa at NOVA Surgicare and said it was they key to his success in the competitive Northern Virginia market.

It will also feature a movie theater and child-friendly murals to make dentistry a more positive experience for children.

The pediatric dentist and orthodontist offices will be separated from the oral surgery practice, which Adams said is being outfitted to surgery center regulations and will have a more adult feel.

Along with the renovation inside, the façade of the building will be updated.

The practice will also offer services such as sedation dentistry for patients with anxiety or specific medical needs.

“It’s not by accident that these specialties are coming together,” Ghatri said. “We work closely and many times see the same patients.”

Hamrah called the center innovative because of how it brings these specialties together, and said centers like it will become part of the natural evolution of dental specialties.

Ghatri and Hamrah also plan on offering continuing education courses for local dental professionals after opening Clear Care Dental.
