STAFFORD, VA. Kord Defense, a government contractor, headquartered out of Australia has recently won a contract for US $2.25 million over 18 months to develop innovative products for the United States Marine Corps that would see additional staff employed under the United States Foreign Comparative Testing (FCT) program.
Kord Defense is an innovative company that develops smart and intuitive interface technologies that fundamentally improves the capacity and safety of the soldier on the battlefield. Kord Defense will develop a Rifle Accessory Control Unit for soldiers to mount on the front of their rifle.
Kord Defense has opened a subsidiary, Kord USA, Inc. within the recently finished 40,000 square foot, two story Class A building at the Quantico Corporate Center. Kord USA occupies space on the top floor alongside the Headquarters for Claxton Logistics.
“It was paramount that we strategically locate our operation at the Quantico Corporate Center due to the close proximity to our primary customer at the Quantico Base” said Zeke Williams, Director of Business Operations.
